NOW BOOKING HEADLINERS & FEAUTES!!!
Hey! This is Michele. I book lots of different shows all over Asheville. I am happy to get all kinds of comics on my shows, whether you are a travelling seasoned professional or looking for a stage for your first show
All of my shows with Slice of Life Comedy are based on a percentage of the door. I always try to be as generous as I can:) because I realize the struggle for all of us to pay rent as an artist. That said, I only book comics for headlining shows that I personally love.
If you are a travelling comic with TV credits I can work out a guarantee on a show-by-show bases
I have several comedy open mics in town and I book off these shows. As comics come into the scene and work on material to the point I feel they're ready, I will give them a 10m set, this can lead to a 20m Feature set and then eventually a spot on a Headliner Show. If you are local and don't come to my shows I may not book you unless I happen to catch you other places
Only a handful of my shows are regularly scheduled by date more than a month out. so it is difficult for me to offer spots to people coming thru unless it happens to work out. I do try though, so drop me an email if you are looking for dates
Just message me an questions, I'm happy to connect you with other comedy rooms in the area or other producers booking info
