• Free Entry to comics performing

• Sign up at door by showtime
• 3-5m based on the number of comics signed up

• Sign up is not order of performance

• Look for the light! The host will flash their phone light at you when you have 1m left of your time. Use it to wrap up your current joke and or get one more joke in. It is importanttgat you do not go over your time limit 

• Host will let you know how much time you get and where you are in the lineup 

• Comics who preform regularly at Slice open mics will get preferential treatment for placement in lineup. New comics to the venue may have to wait till towards the end of the show to go up.

• Slice Comedy mics have no language or content restriction but please read the room 

• Free snacks at the PULP comics table. Free pizzas at the Asheville Pizza comics table. You do not have to stay at the comics table unless the show is sold out

• Feature paid comics are selected by those who show up regularly to the comedy mics and have been seen to have enough good material for a 10-20m spot. If you feel you have done this contact Michele at sliceoflifecomedy@ gmail.com for a paid feature spot request or any other questions 

• Photos of comics performing at the mic are regularly photographed for our instagram stories. Please let Michele know your instagram handle to be tagged
